Guided Hike
The Lac-Saint-François National Wildlife Reserve offers 14 square kilometres of protected territory with over 10 kilometres of hiking trails.
Important Notice: We only take reservations from May 15th to October 15th.
Description of the Activity
Each trail is located in distinct ecosystems, providing you with a glimpse of the area’s rich biodiversity.
Hike without a guide: Before entering a trail, please signal your presence at the welcome desk. This allows us to inform you of the latest news: unusual sightings, trail conditions, hazards, or any other relevant information. We will be able to provide you with helpful advice before embarking on your excursion.
- Trail access is free of charge.
- Donation boxes are located at the trail entrances to support our mission.
- Dogs on leashes are welcome. Please remember to bring bags to clean up after your pet.
We offer guided hiking tours with one of our interpreter-guides:
Group of 1 to 4 people:
- Children (6 to 17 years old): $6/hour
- Student (18+ with ID): $6/hour
- Adult: $8/hour
Group of 5 people or more:
- Children (6 to 17 years old): $5/hour
- Student (18+ with ID): $5/hour
- Adult: $7/hour

Please note that your reservation will only be confirmed once we have contacted you via email or phone. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible. Please book the activity of your choice with a notice of 3 to 4 days before your reservation date, so that we can confirm your booking. Without prior notice or confirmation from us, we cannot guarantee your reservation.
Important information
- Rain or shine, the activity will take place, so if participants are not present, we retain the deposit.
- In case of stormy weather or strong winds, the activity may be postponed/cancelled without notice, on-site.
- In the event that the activity cannot be rescheduled, your deposit will be refunded.
