The Board of Directors
The administration of the Amis de la Réserve nationale de faune du Lac-Saint-François is overseen by a board of eleven volunteer members from the region.
DENIS GERVAISPresident
Representing the Société d’observation de la faune ailée du Sud-Ouest (SOFASO) on the board of directors of the Amis de la Réserve nationale de faune du Lac-Saint-François. He has been a member of the board since 1993. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Crivert ecological group and the Comité ZIP du Haut Saint-Laurent.
He is a self-employed consultant biologist in his company, Oiseaulogue SENC. He conducts habitat and site characterizations, of the flora and fauna, as well as wetland environments. He participated in inventories in 1983, 1984, and 2006 at the Lac Saint-François National Wildlife Reserve. He mapped the various trails in the reserve and produced interpretation documents for various sites in the Suroit region, including the reserve. He has also been involved in numerous environmental awareness activities in the region for over 40 years.
SERGE BOURDONVice-President
Retired from his professional life as an artisan-sculptor, Serge considers the environment to have always been a major concern for him. He sits on the Board of the Société de conservation et d’aménagement des bassins versants de la zone Châteauguay (SCABRIC) and on the Châteauguay River Rehabilitation Committee (CRRC). Additionally, it should be noted that he served as director of the Amis de la Réserve nationale de faune du Lac-Saint-François from 1997 to 2010.
AMY STOLECKITreasurer and translation support
As a secondary school teacher, Amy has been living in Dundee for 20 years. She is interested in various environmental issues, particularly biodiversity protection. For several years, she has held positions on the boards of Ambioterra and Amis de la Réserve nationale de faune.
ERIN O'HARESecretary
Erin has been the Executive Director of the Comité ZIP du Haut Saint-Laurent since 2011. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management. With 10 years of experience in water management, she serves on the board of directors of several organizations.

ANNE-MARIE LEBLANCRepresentative from Saint-Anicet
Anne-Marie is a native of Saint-Anicet and has raised her children there. She still lives in the same place, her childhood home.
A retired nurse, she answered the call when the government asked for help with vaccination. She continues this occupation to this day.

ÉLISABETH LUMIER Administrator and representative of Tsiionhiakwatha/Droulers archaeological site interpretation centre
Originally from Paris, her love for travelling, her interest in history and archeology and her love of nature brought Elisabeth to CISA Droulers-Tsiionhiakwatha in 2012 to do an internship as part of her studies. 12 years later, she is still there.

GINETTE CAZAAdministrator
A counselor at the Municipality of Saint-Anicet and a retired real estate agent, she lives in Saint-Anicet, on Lake Saint-François. She is part of several municipal committees. She is deeply concerned about the environment, as well as the quality of life of the citizens in our region.
KARINA LECLAIRGeneral Manager, employee
Karina has held several positions within the organization before becoming the general manager in 2022: receptionist (2017), administrative assistant (2018-2019), and coordinator (2020-2021). She holds numerous certifications, including Level 1 flatwater canoeing and Level 1 sea kayaking, CNESST workplace first aid certificate (CPR/AED/anaphylaxis), and restricted marine operator training and certificate.

Lynda has been a receptionist since 2021, and she became an administrative assistant in 2022.

Administrative project manager

Julia Nieuwenhof
Environment and marketing project manager
Julia initially served as a Guide Interpreter from 2017 to 2021, before assuming the role of Marketing and Communications Officer in 2022.
Certifications: Level 1 Flatwater Canoeing and Level 1 Sea Kayaking (2018), CNESST workplace first aid certificate (CPR/AED/anaphylaxis), Restricted Maritime Operator Training and Certificate (2022).
Simon Thibert
Pontoon Captain and Interpretation Activities Coordinator
Simon served as a Guide Interpreter from 2019 to 2021 and now holds the position of Coordinator of Interpretation Activities since 2022.
